So, I had originally thought of my work in progress manuscript as Paranormal Fantasy but that very quickly gave way to Urban Fantasy. Today, I realized it is probably better described at Dystopian Fantasy and I have to say I’m happy about that. This is the first time I have created a world outside of reality, anything else I have worked on has been set in the real world with fantasy characters weaved in and I’m enjoying it a lot.
Yesterday I named a city, an entire city the size of Manhattan on the very edge of Armageddon. Is it not everyone who gets to say that! Naming the city has brought about a change in the title of the manuscript too. Now all I need to do is finish the first draft so that I can move on to the second draft.
