Reviews for Ember

Journey with Books
Miss Carol Oates is one magnificent writer!  Reading “Ember” reminded me why I love the good old Paranormal Romance. It reminded me why I love all those sad and full of angst angels. This is one great read for me. Read more...

The Bookish babes
My first thought after reading Ember? Wow, just Wow.

My next thought? Seductive. And when I say seductive, I don't necessarily mean sexual. Ember is a book that, at times, felt extremely sensual. Random Chalk Talk
Yet another great publication from Omnific! The originality of the plot, characters, and the world that Carol created complete sucked me in from the beginning. Carol’s creativity of the Celtic myths was just what those of us who are stretching our creative writing brains need… and those of us who simply love to get swept away in a world completely believable and tremendously imaginative. Mel's Books and Info
I really wasn't sure what to expect when I first started reading this novel. All of the summaries and blurbs that I had found were somewhat on the vague side, but very intriguing. I certainly didn't expect this novel to grab me the way it did and leave me completely breathless. As soon as Triona met Caleb, I found myself riveted to the story and flipping the pages as quickly as I could read. Read more...
